Celtic return to action this weekend looking to get back to winning ways after their defeat to Rangers prior to the winter break.
With Scottish football set to return, Neil Lennon might also increase his quest to sign new players.
One man who has been linked, and who could be a shrewd piece of business, is Aston Villa outcast, Scott Hogan.
The 27-year-old is currently on loan at Stoke City, although he can leave if another club wants to take him on loan.

The ex-Brentford striker hasn’t enjoyed a successful spell at the Bet365 Stadium. He has scored just twice in 16 appearances and would probably relish a new start.
Hogan signed for Villa in 2017 for £12 million (BBC) and has been linked with a move to Celtic during the transfer window (Team Talk).
Since arriving from Griffin Park he has scored 10 goals in 61 games and needs to rediscover his best form.
Celtic could be the perfect place for him to rediscover his very best form.
He has struggled for a run of games in recent years and if he could go to Celtic and get himself in the team, it could be a decent move for all parties.
During his time with the Bees, he scored 21 goals in 36 appearances, highlighting his clinical ability in the penalty area.

At the moment Odsonne Edouard is banging them in for Celtic but there isn’t much in reserve. The Frenchman could also be sold in the near future and the Hoops will then have a greater need for a frontman.
Hogan might not be a spectacular name but he is a proven goalscorer and Lennon could pull off a really tidy signing if he signs the striker.
