Celtic had already secured their place in the last 16 of the Europa League prior to last night’s defeat to Cluj.
The Hoops were beaten by Dan Petrescu’s team 2-0 but still qualified for the next stage as group winners.
On paper, Celtic’s group was pretty tough but they prevailed beating Lazio twice and claiming four points from Rennes.

Boss Neil Lennon chose to rest some of his big guns and hand starts to some of the fringe players within his squad.
One man who did win a place in Lennon’s team for the first time was young midfielder, Scott Robertson.
The 18-year-old has come through the ranks at Celtic Park and despite the defeat, he looked very assured on his debut.
Celtic fans were desperately impressed with the performance of the youngster.
The club has a proud history when it comes to utilising the academy and Robertson is the latest to emerge.

Following the game, Celtic fans took to Twitter to speak of their delight at seeing him play and praise how competent he looked.
Lennon hasn’t been afraid to use the club’s younger players and more game time could beckon for Robertson.
Here is a selection of tweets from Celtic supporters on the back of Robertson’s impressive debut:
