Celtic clearly have an issue at left-back. With Kieran Tierney out injured, the Bhoys played 32-year-old veteran Emilio Izaguirre in the role against Valencia in the Europa League in midweek.
The Honduran’s talents have faded since his last spell at Parkhead and fans are clearly of the belief that he should not be fielded at left-back in Tierney’s absence.
There are other options. New signing Jeremy Toljan is capable in the role whilst Callum McGregor has also slotted in at left-back.

But perhaps it is time for Brendan Rodgers to give a youngster a chance.
Daniel Church would undoubtedly love an opportunity. The 18-year-old Scotland youth international has potential. In 2016, as reported by ESPN, Celtic had to fight off Manchester United’s advances. He was handed a new contract in the summer, with Celtic committing him to the club until 2021, as reported by the official website.
Celtic’s boss has seemed reluctant to hand extended opportunities to youngsters but the likes of Anthony Ralston and Mikey Johnstone have performed well when given a chance.
Instead of playing Izaguirre, who clearly has no long-term future at Celtic, why not give a teenager a chance?
