Obtaining a place among Europe’s elite would be ideal financially.
It looks as though Arsenal will only have £45 million to work with during the summer (Daily Mail).
Attracting players won’t be a problem should Arsenal reach the Champions League.
Emery’s budget is likely to be harnessed should the Gunners offload some players.
Celtic’s Kieran Tierney is thought to be firmly on Arsenal’s radar.
According to Metro, the left-back is one of Emery’s summer targets as he looks to shore up a defensive unit that is sometimes suspect.
Tierney is thought to be valued at £25 million by his club, according to the Daily Record.

The Hoops performer is only 21-years-old but already has 166 appearances under his belt for the club.
As a result, he would represent a quality signing for Emery if he can land him this summer.
Arsenal aren’t a million miles away from being a club capable of challenging once again.
The signing of Tierney could complete the jigsaw as far as Emery is concerned.
