Celtic star James Forrest has lavished praise on Kieran Tierney, branding him one of the best left-backs in Europe.
The full-back is currently making headlines for attracting the attention of Premier League side Arsenal.
The Gunners have failed with a £15 million bid for the Scotland international and are understood to be preparing a second offer (The Guardian).

Celtic will hold out for around £25 million, so the negotiation is very much on.
Tierney is one of Celtic’s best players and most valuable assets having been a part of the first-team for four years.
He is very much a fans’ favourite at Parkhead and the defender appears to be just as popoular with his teammates.

Winger Forrest said of the starlet (quoted by The Scottish Sun): “Who’s been the best? I’ve faced Alba, Vertonghen and Kolarov but Kieran’s right up there. You can see the way he bombs up and down how fit he is.
On the links to Arsenal, Forrest added: “KT hasn’t been saying much. He’s here even though he isn’t training yet.”
TBR’s view
Tierney undoubtedly has the quality to play in the Premier League and Celtic have a huge job on trying to keep him.
Arsenal are in dire need of defensive reinforcements and Tierney would unquestionably improve the Gunners.

Many Celtic fans are clinging to the hope that Tierney will want to stay for a potential ten league titles in a row.
Given the loyalty Tierney has shown so far that is a possibility, but Forrest’s comments would suggest he is now worthy of making a step up.
