Rangers might not have wrestled the SPL crown from Celtic this season, but the reserve side claimed some bragging rights yesterday by becoming champions.
A 3-1 win over Falkirk for Graeme Murty’s team saw them lift the title and spark big celebrations.
Andy Dallas’ brace and a goal from Rhys Breen saw the Gers come from a goal behind to secure the victory and the league championship trophy.

It was a stunning moment for the club’s youngsters who have worked hard for this piece of silverware over the last season.
Following the win, former first-team boss Murty posted a heartfelt message on Twitter thanking his players for a superb campaign:
Murty is adored by the Gers faithful for the work which he did as the club’s manager at a challenging time for the Ibrox-based team.
The 44-year-old now has a remit of overseeing the next generation of stars for Steven Gerrard’s team and this title highlights the quality coming through the ranks.
Following Murty’s tweet, Rangers supporters were quick to praise his group of players. Many took to Twitter to offer messages of support for the work done.
