Brazil are continuing their preparations for the World Cup in Qatar and it seems that Manchester United’s Casemiro is in no mood to take it easy.
The United midfielder is among a number of Premier League players in the Brazil squad. Tottenham forward Richarlison is there with the Selecao, while Arsenal have the likes of Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus involved.
It appears that it is Tottenham’s Richarlison who is having to get himself out of the way in training. Well, it certainly looks that way based on a small training clip released by Sky this morning.

Casemiro tackles Richarlison
In the clip, Brazil are doing some basic passing/rondo drills. However, as the ball comes to Spurs star Richarlison, United midfielder Casemiro shows he’s in no mood for holding back as he flies into a challenge. Luckily, Richarlison sees it coming and gets out of the way of the tackle from Casemiro.
Casemiro, as we know, is not one to shirk a tackle. The midfielder was signed by Manchester United in the summer for around £70m. Since then, he’s improved their midfield no end.
Richarlison, meanwhile, has been fighting to get back fit for this World Cup. The last thing he’ll want to see, then, is Casemiro flying into him in training!
TBR’s View: Richarlison to be surprise star in World Cup
There was something on TalkSPORT about Richarlison being long odds to be the top goal scorer in this World Cup.
However, he’s playing in a team who are favourites to win the thing and he plays as one of the focal points. He will get chances, and with that, he could be a shout to win the Golden Boot.
Richarlison also goes into the tournament fresh. He has been injured, but in his mind, it will all have been about getting ready for Qatar. If Brazil do well, then you can bet your bottom dollar that Richarlison will play a big part.
