Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale is in the top five footballers in the world according to Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro.
The Brazilian has been speaking about the 31-year-old whilst on international duty, where he denied that the Wales international was a misfit at the Bernabeu.

Bale completed a sensational return to the club last month, and will spend the 2020/21 season on loan in north London.
He is reportedly poised to make his second debut for the club against West Ham United on Sunday, and fans cannot wait for the moment.
In the eyes of Casemiro, Bale is a major coup for Spurs.
He told Vamos, as quoted by Defensa Central: “He got along very well with everyone.
“When he plays, if he’s focused, he’s one of the best in the world, top five without a doubt.

“It’s a pleasure for me to have shared the dressing room with someone like him. I hope it goes well at this stage at Tottenham.”
TBR’s View – The stage is set for Bale at Tottenham
Casemiro’s comments will only further increase the hype surrounding Bale’s second stint at the club.
It is quite easy for fans to question Bale given his record with injuries and his lack of minutes under Zinedine Zidane, but his teammate’s words must surely count for a lot as he has trained regularly with him.
For Casemiro to say Bale would still be a top-five player on his day would suggest Spurs really have done brilliantly to get him back.
