‘Carrying us he is’ – Everton fans react to Richarlison’s display against Southampton

Everton drew 1-1 with Southampton this evening as they struggled to break down Ralph Hassenhuttl’s men at Goodison Park, although Richarlison put in another fine performance. 

The Brazilian was on the mark to put the Toffees level just before half-time, converting well from a wonderful ball from Lucas Digne.

It means Richarlison is now well into double figures this season and looks firmly like living up the billing of his massive transfer fee.

His overall game seems to have come on leaps and bounds under Carlo Ancelotti, too, and he could well be a man in-demand this summer to some of Europe’s top clubs.

For now, though, Richarlison is loved by the Everton faithful and the fans were out in force on Twitter during and after the game to sing to the praises of their key man.

It’s safe to say, then, that the Toffees supporters are thankful for the Brazilian judging by some of the reaction and comments to his performance and goal tonight.
