Carlo Ancelotti has suggested fringe striker Cen Tosun is in line to have more involvement for the Toffees.
The Turkish attacker is rarely seen these days at Goodison Park, but was handed his first minutes of 2020/21 last weekend against Newcastle United.
It was the 29-year-old’s first Everton appearance in over 11 months, after he had spent the second half of last term on loan at Crystal Palace.

Tosun’s last appearance for Everton before Sunday was against Arsenal in December – the day Ancelotti was appointed as the club’s new manager – although the Italian didn’t take the team that day.
Many had anticipated Tosun would be sold during the last transfer window, but the manager has suggested he intends to call on Sam Allardyce’s £27 million signing (BBC Sport).
He said (Liverpool Echo): “We need Cenk for some games, he is a good striker in the box, really good, really efficient in the box.
“It is good to have him back.
“Of course, he has to improve his condition but I think it is an important sign he is back.”
TBR’s View – Last chance saloon for Tosun?
In the eyes of quite a few Evertonians, it is somewhat surprising Tosun is still at the club.

It has not been a particularly fruitful spell for the £60,000-a-week star (Spotrac), after he made a good early impression after joining from Besiktas.
He needs to make some kind of impact in the next couple of months, or he could well find himself being farmed out on loan again, or even sold.
