Carlo Ancelotti sent a message on Twitter following his appointment as Everton manager.
The Toffees confirmed on their official website that the 60-year-old has been named their new boss on a four-and-a-half year deal.
They have announced his arrival an hour before their match at home to Arsenal in the Premier League, which will be overseen by caretaker boss Duncan Ferguson.
Ancelotti is an experienced manager that arrives at Goodison Park with a phenomenal CV after managing the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and AC Milan in the past.
The Italian boss has expressed his delight on social media following his arrival on Merseyside.
“Excited to share the news that I am joining Everton FC. I am delighted to be back in the Premier League and to be part of this historic club. Thank you for your trust in me,” Ancelotti wrote on his personal Twitter account.
