Everton boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has reaffirmed the club’s stance when it comes to keeping hold of Richarlison.
The Brazilian was a subject of reported interest from Barcelona in the final few days of the transfer window. Indeed, talk of an £85m bid being rejected was widely reported yesterday.
Richarlison arrived at Goodison Park for a club-record fee from Watford. He’s been in impressive form since, too, notching 13 times last season and already scoring eight this term.

And new Toffees boss Ancelotti moved to clarify his stance on the forward, insisting the club will continue to say no to any offers that come their way.
“I do not think it will be difficult to resist because it is enough to say no,” he said. (Liverpool Echo)
“There is no possibility because Richarlison is an important part of the future of Everton. Like the other young players we have – Pickford, Holgate, Kean, Calvert-Lewin – and this is the base from where the club has to build the future and Richarlison is part of it.”

Richarlison is still only 22-years-old and will indeed play a big part in the future of the club. After splashing the cash in recent seasons, Everton are hoping Ancelotti can help them to success.
The Italian has turned things around somewhat, too. In his first five games, he’s overseen three wins and a draw, with just one defeat along the way.
A key and integral cog for the Toffees – TBR View
Ancelotti’s stance is refreshing. No comments of ‘every player has a price’ and so forth.
The Italian is clearly determined to build something at Goodison Park. He wouldn’t have taken the job had he not thought the squad and club had potential.
Keeping Richarlison, then, is vital to any hopes of glory. He was an expensive buy but he’s also shown his worth following that transfer.
He’s become integral to the Toffees’ attacking play. The goals have flowed, too, and under a coach like Ancelotti, you’d imagine he will only get better.
