Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has appeared to suggest Anthony Gordon is set for more opportunities at Goodison Park.
The teenager was handed his Premier League debut back in January against West Ham, and his first start in the competition against Liverpool last month.
He has now amassed five appearances in total for the Toffees’ first-team, and provided an assist for Richarlison in the latest 2-1 win over Leicester City to further catch the eye.

Gordon, who hit six goals for the U23s before being promoted to the senior squad, is highly regarded by the club, and it seems the manager is keen to continue putting his faith in him.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Ancelotti said: “The only message for Anthony has been to give him confidence that he can play in the first-team.
“He’s not just a young player that trained with the first team. He’s an important player that came from the academy that has a big part to play in the squad.”
TBR’s View – Gordon’s chance to impress
With two starts to his name since the Premier League’s restart, it seems Gordon has the trust of Ancelotti.

Six games remain for Everton and Europe is still a possibility. Gordon can certainly give his manager something to think about ahead of the 2020/21 season if he can make a positive contribution.
The Toffees can leapfrog Tottenham Hotspur in the table by beating them tonight, and Gordon will no doubt be hopeful of another start.
