Cardiff City are reportedly looking into the potential signing of Spanish midfielder Victor Camarasa. The Real Betis talent has emerged as a late transfer target for the newly-promoted side, according to Marca.
They suggest the talented 24-year-old could decide to leave Betis, after fallen down the pecking order due to Sergio Canales and Takashi Inui’s arrivals in Seville.
A loan move seems most likely and Cardiff would be getting their hands on a player considered a top talent in Spain.
In fact, five years ago, even Barcelona and Real Madrid were taking notice. As reported by Mundo Deportivo in September 2013 the El Clasico giants were both keen on signing Camarasa that year.
The then 19-year-old midfielder had caught the eye with his performances for Levante’s Juvenil team and both Spanish giants were keen.
In the end, he remained at Levante, before joining Betis last summer.
But what he has is undoubted natural ability. Getting Barcelona and Real Madrid interested in your signature is not exactly easy after all.
Cardiff City may now be getting their hands on the player. Which could be a massive coup for the Bluebirds.
