West Ham blew a big chance to take points off of Arsenal as Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio missed a host of chances at the Emirates.
The Hammers put in a fine performance in the main but could not make it pay as Alexandre Lacazette scored a winner for Arsenal with 12 minutes remaining.

David Moyes will have been bitterly disappointed to see his side come away empty-handed. The Hammers, and Antonio and Haller in particular, had a host of chances that they fluffed.
It was, then, a case of the same old story for Moyes and West Ham and they remain level on points with Bournemouth who are 18th in the table.
Attacking threat
In fairness to Antonio and Haller, they were a threat. Along with new signing, Jarrod Bowen, they proved to be a constant thorn in the Gunners’ side.
But, as we all know, taking chances is key to getting points on the board. Sadly for Moyes and West Ham, Antonio and Haller were guilty of missing a number of big chances.

Following the game, then, Twitter was awash with comments from West Ham fans. Most of them were full of praise for the performance they saw.
However, it’s clear as well that a lot weren’t impressed with the finishing on display. And that, it seems, is the key message Hammers fans are trying to get home.
