Wolverhampton Wanderers scored a last minute equaliser to draw 1-1 with Newcastle United on Monday and it means they are seventh-placed in the Premier League table.

The West Midlands club are chasing down a European finish this campaign and are two points above Watford in eighth.

Willy Bolly scored in the 95th minute to draw with Newcastle and the assist came from substitute Adama Traore.

Traore was introduced to the action late on at Molineux, but his looping cross set up the equaliser and he made a positive impact with his pace.

The 23-year-old is a right-winger with tremendous speed and trickery, something he gave fans a glimpse of with his cameo.

Traore has certainly proven during his first season with Wolves that he’s unconventional and certainly unpredictable when in possession, which is why he’s not managed to cement his spot in the starting XI.

His manager Nuno Espirito Santo needs to advice him to stick to the basics, which are beating his full-back and delivering into the box.

Even Traore’s pivotal assist had a touch of fortune with the way it lopped to the back post, but most importantly he did change the final result.

The Spaniard is still young enough to cut out the rashness to his game and perhaps fans may see him improve from now until the end of the season.

Wolves travel to Championship opposition Bristol City on Sunday in the FA Cup fifth round and it would be a great opportunity for Traore to show how effective he can be simplifying his game.
