Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of clubs in the hunt for Red Bull Salzburg starlet Hannes Wolf, as per The Mirror.
Wolf is little known for now but he has the potential to become a top player at Premier League level.
The 19-year-old is already regarded as one of the best players in Austria despite his young age and it is no surprise to see a host of Premier League sides chasing him.
Spurs would face competition from Arsenal, Everton and Southampton for Wolf, according to this report.
But Mauricio Pochettino could turn the teenage playmaker into the next Christian Eriksen at Tottenham.
Eriksen arrived at Spurs from Ajax and he was not widely known at that point.
But the Danish midfielder has since blossomed into one of the best creative players in the Premier League.
Wolf has the potential to reach the same level as Eriksen, having already impressed for RB Salzburg.
The Austria under-21 international racked up an impressive tally of 12 goals and eight assists in his debut season at senior level last term.
And with four goals and nine assists this season, Wolf’s burgeoning reputation has caught the eye of Spurs.
Wolf is far from the finished product but Spurs should try to tap into his potential by pursuing this deal.
