Having moved away from the Camp Nou to search for first team opportunities, the former Arsenal start will surely be on the move again. The Premier League clearly appeals to Song and he would add versatility to Swansea’s midfield.

Swansea have lacked a true defensive midfielder during their time in the Premier League, but after a season of struggles, it may be time to slightly adapt their approach. Having played for Arsenal and Barcelona; two of the teams most renowned for their passing philosophy in world football, settling in with Swansea’s style shouldn’t be a problem for the Cameroon international. His wealth of experience at the highest level; including Champions League and World Cup appearances, would also be extremely useful to have around the squad.
