Can these three young Championship players secure a Premier League move soon?

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham)

The 16-year-old left back has caused much of a stir since his man of the match debut display against Leeds back in August. Since then Sessegnon has been locked in a battle for the left back berth with Scott Malone, one of many Fulham summer signings. Rotating with Malone may benefit the youngster over the course of the season, as he still adjusts to the demands of his first full season.

The full back, who is born in this millennium, has attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool, as well as Manchester City and Arsenal. Like most young full backs, Sessegnon loves to bomb forward and contribute to the game in the attacking third, with goals against Cardiff and Burton already in the league. The Fulham defender can often do this throughout games, given his tremendous athleticism.

However, he still shows some signs of immaturity and lack of experience, which is expected. Defensively, a lot of work is still there to do, as proven by his lacklustre display against Bristol City, losing 4-0 at home. As the teenager is exposed to more football at this level, he will continue learning about working within an organised unit, whilst also improving his own defensive attributes.

At the age of only 16, you would expect Sessegnon to make the step up to the Premier League at some point in his career. However, seeing the start he has made this season at Fulham, if he carries on developing at such a rapid pace, we could see him move to a pinnacle of the English pyramid soon enough.
