Sam Allardyce will most definitely be plotting Sunderland’s escape plan ahead of their next couple of games as he’ll be keen on successfully completing the task for which he was brought into the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland are no strangers to the danger-zone as they’ve been in and around the relegation area over the last few years and they somehow always find a way to survive.

But their luck might just have run out this season as we’ve gotten to that point of the season where passion and desire beats tactics and planning.

Sunderland have dropped a lot of points from losing positions this season due to their inability to hold on to a good lead despite Big Sam’s tough tactical set-up.

They’re set to lock horns with the likes of Newcastle and Norwich in a bid to secure Premier League safety.

Khazri and Van Annholt have been particularly impressive for Sunderland this season alongside lethal poacher Jermain Defoe – Big Sam will be hoping the trio can produce the goods when it matters and right now it matters a lot.
