Can defender Kortney Hause carve out future at Wolves?

Wolves defender Kortney House is already struggling for minutes at Molineux this season, but it could get even worse for him in the future.

The 23-year-old is a no-nonsense enforcer that has played in two cup games this campaign and is still waiting for his first action in the Premier League.

He is currently down the defensive pecking order under manager Nuno Espirito Santo and the club’s reported January plans may worry him.

According to the Scottish Sun, Wolves are potentially interested in a January move for Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna and are weighing up an offer.

The 6ft 2in Scotland international is a ball-playing centre-back that could be a great fit for Wolves and would surely be in the mix for a starting position if he joined.

He is a highly-rated 21-year-old that looks cut out to make the jump to the Premier League and already has four caps for his country.

But that potential arrival would do no favours for Hause and damage his chances of carving out a future with the West Midlands club.

Hause is a talented defender that has decent pace and strength, which is why it must be frustrating for him to be restricted to the bench on a regular basis.

There would surely be a number of clubs keen on him if he became available and it will be interesting to see if his long-term future is at Wolves.
