Tottenham Hotspur centre-half Cameron Carter-Vickers will be hoping to play at least some part for the USA against England on Thursday.
The defender is gearing up for the friendly match, which will see all proceeds go to the Wayne Rooney Foundation, and the DC United striker appear for one final time for the Three Lions.

A lot of the focus will be on Rooney as he bids goodbye once and for all to the international setup at Wembley Stadium.
But Carter-Vickers will be quietly hoping to impress against Gareth Southgate’s side knowing that many eyes will be watching the game, with one pair no doubt belonging to the manager of his parent club Mauricio Pochettino.
That’s because his loan spell at Swansea City has been pretty uninspiring so far.

Carter-Vickers has made just four appearances in the Championship this term, two of which have been starts.
It’s been a frustrating start for the 20-year-old, who must be dying to play with Jan Vertonghen out of action and Davinson Sanchez having recently picked up a hamstring problem for Spurs.
Carter-Vickers must impress at Wembley
Carter-Vickers simply has to take any chance handed to him by Dave Sarachan.
If he wants to stake his claim for Tottenham, he must make use of this platform and shine at Wembley to force Graham Potter into picking him regularly for the Swans.

It’s potentially a season-defining game for Carter-Vickers, who has onlyever made two FA Cup and two League cup appearances for the Lilywhites.
With Toby Alderweireld’s future still unclear at this point, he has to show Pochettino that he does have something to offer.
