Cameron Carter-Vickers appears to be moving higher and higher up the Celtic shopping list heading into the January transfer window, with plenty of fans taking to Twitter to comment on his performance in their clash with Motherwell on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou’s men closed the gap back to four points at the top of the Scottish Premiership. Tom Rogic scored the only goal as the Hoops secured their seventh league win at Parkhead this season.

Only Starfelt completed more passes than Carter-Vickers, according to Whoscored. Remarkably, he also won 11 aerial duels – the next best player managed just six – and made seven clearances.

It was recently claimed that the Tottenham Hotspur loanee will cost Celtic £10 million if they want to keep him beyond this season. The Hoops had apparently hoped to sign the USMNT international for £6 million.
