Burton Albion progressed into the last 16 of the Carabao Cup by dumping out Premier League outfit Bournemouth at the Pirelli Stadium.
In a game which saw the floodlights fail three times, it was Everton loan signing Nathan Broadhead that eventually put the tie out of reach for Eddie Howe’s team.
The Welshman will spend the season with Nigel Clough’s team and last night’s notch was his third of the campaign so far.

A left-winger, Broadhead was a key figure for Everton’s under-23 outfit last season; helping David Unsworth’s team to the Premier League 2 title.
At 21-years-old and 18 months left to run on his contract, the youngster will hope to use his current loan spell to earn a Goodison Park opportunity.
Everton fans are a proud bunch and they love to see their own academy prospects earn the chance to shine on the first-team stage.

The Toffees have not enjoyed a good start to the 2019/20 campaign. Marco Silva’s underperforming side currently occupy 14th place having won two of their six matches so far.
After Broadhead’s solid showing against Premier League opposition the club’s supporters took to Twitter to rave about their prospect.
Here is a selection of Tweets from the Everton faithful regarding Broadhead’s goal for Burton against Bournemouth:
