The winger can operate on both flanks and has progressed nicely in League One at Airdrie.

Burnley might have landed themselves a gem. He will link up with their under-23 ranks first and may even enjoy a loan spell in the Football League.

Celtic and Rangers could both have utilised him in and around their first team over the next few years. Now they face an anxious wait to see how he gets on at Burnley.
