Burnley manager Sean Dyche has offered an update on the future of England international goalkeeper Tom Heaton, as per Lancashire Live.
According to the Sun, Aston Villa have bid £7 million for the experienced stopper, who Spotrac claim earns £42,000-a-week at Turf Moor.
But Dyche said: “There is nothing it, there has been no contact with me. There has been rumours and rumours aplenty this summer and we understand why that is.
“But we have got a group of players we believe in and we always seemingly over the last few years have interest in one player or another but there is certainly nothing serious our end. Tom is here with us as normal.”

Dyche is a typically forthright manager but as he eludes to, he’s no stranger to dealing with transfer sagas by now.
The fact remains that Burnley have three England international goalkeepers and are likely to only be able to keep a maximum of two of them happy.
Heaton was the man in possession of the shirt by the end of the season, but at 33, if he’s the one for whom the money comes in for, the Clarets would be wise to consider it.
Whether or not Villa have offered – or go back in – remains to be seen.
