Ryan Kent completed 90 minutes in the draw against Kilmarnock on Wednesday night – and some Rangers fans on Twitter ripped into him for the quality of his performance.
Steven Gerrard’s side were held to a 1-1 draw at Ibrox, but did move up to fourth in the league table and are eight points adrift of leaders Hearts.
The Light Blues were in front early through Alfredo Morelos’ 13th goal of the season in all competitions and winger Kent picked up the assist.
But the visitors responded swiftly through Greg Stewart’s strike and the Gers were unable to find a winner.
Kent is currently on loan at Rangers this season from Liverpool and has become an integral part of the starting XI.
A selection of fans were highly critical of the 21-year-old for his latest display and have suggested he could do with a rest, with one harshly stating he was ‘non-existent’ throughout.
The skilful winger has already made 20 appearances across all competitions this term and been directly involved in five goals.
Here are some of the Rangers tweets on Kent after his outing against Kilmarnock:
Too many players in the team not wanting to take responsibility, Ryan Kent done a great Barrie McKay impression tonight hiding so he couldn’t get the ball.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I honestly think Ryan Kent is getting overrated needs a rest imo

Was non existent tonight. And played the full 90.

Kent was burned out and we rely on him far too much. They had him 3 on 1 at times. Worrall and Flanagan at Stewart’s goal were pathetic

Gerrard must’ve read my mind. Kent has been isolated out on the left wing
