Arsenal have been struggling to secure their transfer targets so far this summer.
There are only a couple of weeks to go now until the window closes, and the Gunners have only signed Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli so far.
Dani Ceballos and William Saliba are expected to join, but pursuits of Wilfried Zaha and Kieran Tierney have proven more difficult.

It would seem Arsenal are being stung by failing to win the Europa League, as that would have meant automatic Champions League qualification and extra finances.
Players appear reluctant to join the club, but one player over in Germany has said the north Londoners are his ‘dream’.
21-year-old Austria international midfielder Xaver Schlager is a huge fan, and is seemingly already thinking about a potential move despite having just transferred to Wolfsburg from RB Salzburg.

He told Kicker: “As a kid in Austria, everyone dreams of making it abroad, probably as early as the age of seven. The league [Austrian Bundesliga] just is not that attractive.
“I have not reached a final goal, now comes the next goal.
“I’ve been a fan of Arsenal since I was a kid, that’s my dream club and it’s my dream to play there.”
TBR’s view
The €15 million/£13.4 million signing will now embark on his adventure in the German top-flight with Wolfsburg.
Perhaps following his comments Arsenal should just place him on their records for the future.

Schlager actually has a fair bit of promise about him – at the age of 21, he has already made over 200 career appearances.
The midfielder, who helped himself to eight goals and four assists for Salzburg last term, also featured at the European U21 Championships with his country.
