Bukayo Saka has a ‘perfect’ celebration planned in the event he scores for Arsenal at Manchester City.

Arsenal are going well at the moment and booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals with a penalty shootout win over Porto last night.

Mikel Arteta’s men also lead the way in the Premier League on goal difference, with Manchester City a point behind. But they face some crucial games over the coming weeks and their next league fixture is arguably the biggest of them all.

The Gunners travel to the Etihad Stadium on March 31 and a win would surely put Arteta’s side in the driving seat for the title.

And after their last-16 win over Porto, Micah Richards convinced Bukayo Saka to pull out a new celebration.

Saka shares ‘perfect’ celebration for City clash

Speaking on CBS Sports, Kate Abdo mentioned that Richards is attempting to convince players to do a celebration dedicated to himself.

“Micah Richards is starting a movement by the way, if they score, they have to do a celebration dedicated to Micah,” the presenter said.

Richards responded: “Yeah but Bellingham let me down, Rice let me down but it was in a penalty shoot out so I will let him off, so when you score next you know what I want the big Meeks [draws a big M in the air and slaps his chest].”

Saka then shook Richards’ hand but the pundit then added ‘as long as it’s not against Man City’.

“It will be perfect if it’s against Man City,” Saka said.

Of course, Richards has recently admitted he’s an Arsenal fan but due to his close affiliation with City, he probably wouldn’t be too delighted to see Saka score against his former side.

As for Saka, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the 22-year-old do this celebration should he score at the Etihad.

He’s already produced a couple of memorable celebrations this season, one coming against Tottenham when he re-created James Maddison’s celebration.

But the most important thing for the Gunners will be picking up a positive result against the champions.

You get the feeling that if Arsenal are to win the title, they will need to lay a marker down against City.
