Bukayo Saka and RB Leipzig star praise Arsenal gem Emile Smith Rowe on Instagram

Emile Smith Rowe produced another eye-catching display for Arsenal against Tottenham and afterwards received praise from Leipzig star Tyler Adams and Bukayo Saka on Instagram.

The 20-year-old made his first Premier League appearance on Boxing Day and hasn’t looked back since then, making a further 12 top-flight outings.

He had really helped Mikel Arteta’s team gain a creative spark and supporters have quickly warmed to the Hale End graduate.

Against Tottenham, he lined up on the left-hand side with Martin Odegaard playing in the No.10 role behind Alexandre Lacazette.

After taking to Instagram following the game, Smith Rowe found himself on the end of some praise from teammates past and present.

Smith Rowe has been a regular in the team alongside Saka since the turn of the year and played with Adams during a previous loan in the Bundesliga.

Both players were quick to applaud Arsenal’s new kid on the block after his standout performance against Spurs.

Yesterday’s win puts Arsenal firmly back in contention for a place in Europe next season.

Next weekend they face West Ham and a win against the Hammers would have their league position looking even healthier.

Smith Rowe has revived Arsenal in the final third since being handed an opportunity to shine over Christmas.

The £20,000-a-week ace has managed to pin down a place in Arteta’s team and has helped address a serious creativity problem earlier this season.

Arsenal supporters will be hoping his strong form domestically and in Europe can continue.
