Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard have both sent messages to one Arsenal teammate following yesterday’s win over Bournemouth.

Mikel Arteta’s men made simple work of a crucial home game against the Cherries on Saturday by picking up a 3-0 win.

The victory leaves Arsenal one point ahead of champions Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola’s men also picking up a convincing win over Wolves.

Unlike last season, the Gunners look set to take the title race to the wire after avoiding a slip-up against an in-form Bournemouth side.

Bukayo Saka opened the scoring in the first half as he made no mistake from the spot after Kai Havertz was brought down in the box.

Arsenal would have to wait until the 70th minute for their second of the day, with Leandro Trossard producing a cool finish from the left-hand side.

Declan Rice wrapped up the win in stoppage time to grab his seventh Premier League goal of the season. Following his latest effort, he’s received praise from both Saka and Trossard on social media.

His teammates flocked beneath the post to congratulate him on yet another standout performance in midfield.

Rice’s stats vs Arsenal

Saka and Trossard continue to provide for Arsenal in the final third and both stepped up with important goals yesterday.

Between the duo, they have netted 27 times in the league this season and yesterday’s goal came at a crucial time for Arteta’s men.

Yet, Rice’s displays in the middle of the park certainly can’t be ignored and he was among Arsenal’s best players once again on Saturday.

The 25-year-old was the Gunners’ second-highest rated player behind Havertz, picking up an 8.4 match rating from Sofascore.
