BT Sport commentator Darren Fletcher shared what Antonio Conte did in the media room hours before Tottenham Hotspur’s game last night.
The Italian was forced to watch his side’s dramatic late win over Marseille from the stands. He was serving a one-match ban due to his outburst after Harry Kane’s ‘winner’ against Sporting Lisbon last week.
Spurs managed to get the job done in his absence after falling behind in the first-half. But Fletcher says Conte was focused on the task at hand hours before kick-off last night.

What Conte did in media room before Tottenham game
Speaking on BT Sport’s coverage of the game, Fletcher shared what the Italian did in the media room earlier that day.
He said: “He walked in the media room earlier while we were down there doing a bit of work and he went stalking through like a boxer on his way to the ring.”
It will have been a frustrating experience for Conte to watch on from the stands last night, especially after his side’s first-half display.
The Italian’s ban meant he was even unable to speak to his squad in the dressing room or relay any messages to the dugout.

Chancel Mbemba put Conte’s old teammate Igor Tudor’s side ahead just before half-time after a poor start from Spurs.
Hugo Lloris produced some brilliant saves in the first-half to keep Conte’s side in the game.
Cristian Stellini was the man in charge in the dugout last night and whatever Conte’s assistant said at half-time must have worked.
Tottenham came out with more attacking intent in the second-half and soon found an equaliser after a neat header by Clement Lenglet.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg sealed an all important win with the last kick of the game. He raced through on goal and rifled his shot into the top corner off the inside of the post.
Conte will be delighted with the character his side showed during the second-half. In the absence of their boss and a star player in Heung-Min Son for most of the game, they battled away to secure their place in the last-16.
The Italian will be relieved to have guided his side through to the knockout stages after exiting the tournament with Inter Milan at the group stage on two occasions.
