Clarke Oduor finally scored his first goal for Leeds United’s Under-23 side with an exquisite finish after some impeccable build-up play on Monday night – and that has prompted Jack Clarke and Bryce Hosannah to comment.
Leeds continued their dominance in the Professional Development League with an exquisite 3-0 win over Ipswich Town. Oduor opened the scoring, before Gaetano Berardi and Ryan Edmondson got their names on the score sheet.
Hosannah’s long ball was brilliantly controlled by Oduor, who played the ball inside to Stevens. Former Forest Green midfielder Stevens then clipped the ball over the top of the defence to Oduor.
The Kenyan winger then volleyed the ball home after controlling Steven’s chip on his chest. Oduor posted on Instagram after the match, to which Clarke and Hosannah replied.

TBR’s view
Oduor has bags of talent and certainly is on the fringes of Marcelo Bielsa’s side. His senior debut as a substitute in the 2-1 loss to QPR in the FA Cup shows he has potential.
This goal will give the winger a new-found confidence. Already thriving in Carlos Corberan’s side after being moved out wide instead of a full-back, Oduor has been a threat to defences all campaign.
His first goal will help him reach the next level. That could be breaking into the senior side at Elland Road.
