Bryan Gil says Spurs have a truly 'great' player in their ranks
Spurs winger Bryan Gil has waxed lyrical about Harry Kane, calling him a great player and natural goalscorer.
The 20-year-old also hopes he can help the struggling Tottenham striker out in terms of getting more goals on board this season.
Gil joined Spurs in the summer and has quickly made a name for himself amongst the club’s fans thanks to his talent, hard work, and flair.
Tottenham began the season brightly but have since gone off the boil, losing their last three Premier League games.
Last weekend was especially painful for Spurs fans, who had to watch their team go three goals down at Arsenal en route to a 3-1 defeat.
Kane was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City in the summer, but Daniel Levy played hardball and the England captain stayed put.
However, the 28-year-old has cut a frustrated figure this term, and is yet to score in the Premier League this term.
Speaking ahead of Thursday’s Europa Conference League meeting with Mura, Gil praised Kane and pledged to provide ammunition for him.
“Harry Kane is a great player and a natural goalscorer and I hope I can help him score many more goals,” football.london quotes him as saying.
Spurs are currently second in ECL Group B following their opening-day 2-2 draw at Rennes.
