Wolves fans have mixed emotions after Vitor Pereira was sacked, becoming the second Premier League managerial casualty of the season.
A 3-0 defeat against Fulham on Saturday marked Wolves’ eighth loss of the campaign, and the club confirmed on Sunday that Pereira had been relieved of his duties.
They sit bottom of the Premier League table, with just two points from 10 games this season – a dreadful return that ultimately sealed Pereira’s fate.

Wolves fans react to Vitor Pereira’s sacking
Supporters have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the decision, with reactions varying.
“So sad about this, but inevitable. Thoroughly decent man. It was time,” one fan wrote.
“It was a matter of when and not if. He had to go. Who’s going to replace him though?” another added.
“Without question, Pereira picked a team to get the sack. Can be the only explanation. A sad day for Wolves,” said a third.
“Football is brutal, man. A hero last season, treated like a villain this season – despite the fact Wolves sold many of their best players this summer without replacing them,” another supporter noted.
“Good job giving him a new contract in September. I fear this is too late, and we’re already down to be honest,” a last fan commented.
Who will be Wolves’ next manager?
Attention has now turned to who could take the reins at Molineux. Options appear limited, but fans are already speculating on possible replacements.
“I hear there’s a certain Australian man who’s out of a job… he could be in contention,” one fan joked – hinting at Ange Postecoglou.
Former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has also been mentioned after his brief stint at Bayer Leverkusen ended earlier this season, while Brendan Rodgers remains unattached following his departure from Rangers.
Wolves take on Chelsea next weekend in the Premier League, hoping a change in the dugout can spark a much-needed turnaround.
