Bristol City fans react to reported interest in Leeds’s Eddie Nketiah

A number of Bristol City fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun suggesting that the Robins will make a fresh move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in January if he is recalled from his loan spell at Leeds United.

It has been a difficult start to the season for Nketiah. He is yet to start a Championship game for the Whites. But he has definitely shown glimpses of his potential.

He has scored twice in the league, while he has also found the back of the net on two occasions in the Carabao Cup. But it appears that there may soon be a question mark hanging over his future at Elland Road.

The Sun reports that Lee Johnson wanted Nketiah before his move to Leeds. However, the 20-year-old failed to turn up for talks with Bristol City. Nevertheless, the City boss is reportedly keen on making a fresh move.

The report suggests that the Robins are hoping that Arsenal recall Nketiah and are willing to send the youngster to Ashton Gate.

Interestingly, the reports have divided the Bristol City fans on social media. There are some who believe that he would be the perfect signing for the second-half of the season.

However, there are also others who are still angry that he rejected the club in the summer. They have questioned whether he would really want to join Johnson’s men if the chance presented itself.
