Former Tottenham striker and now pundit, Darren Bent, has urged Arsenal to make a move for Jack Wilshere as the club continues to struggle in front of goal.

Wilshere is without a club after leaving West Ham in the summer and has yet to put pen to paper on a deal elsewhere. There is said to be interest in the midfielder from both Rangers and the MLS, but nothing has materialised yet.
However, Bent, speaking via his Twitter account, has called on Arsenal to give Wilshere another chance and make a move to bring him back into the Gunners fold.

Arsenal have scored just nine goals this season and with Mikel Arteta excluding Mesut Ozil from the squad, there is a gaping hole in terms of creativity from midfield areas.
Wilshere, who struggled with injuries but was well liked among Arsenal supporters, could well be open to helping his old team out if the chance arose.
However, it’s unlikely Mikel Arteta will pursue such a deal given his stance on taking the club forward with the players he wants.
Bold shout, but no chance – TBR View
Not sure if there is an element of tongue-in-cheek here from Bent, but there is no way that Arsenal will make a move for Jack Wilshere.
The club has moved on from the former England man, and, in honesty, he probably needs a clean break himself. Going back to his old stomping ground is probably not the ideal scenario.
It’s a nice thought from Bent, this, but one that is probably a bit too far-fetched.
