‘Brilliant news’: Tottenham fans react as Mourinho confirms Dele Alli stance

Tottenham fans have been reacting on Twitter today to the news that Jose Mourinho could be open to Dele Alli returning to the squad.

The England midfielder has been out of the picture for Spurs for much of this season. However, despite much speculation in January, Alli remained a Tottenham player in the end, with a move to PSG failing to materialise.

Mourinho has, then, confirmed today that he’s held a meeting with Alli. The meeting is said to have been an amicable one and Mourinho could well thrust Alli back into contention in the coming games.

Spurs fans, naturally, found this to be a big talking point in the day, with a number of them taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.

And just a quick look at some of the comments suggests this is welcome news. Alli, on top form, is a very good Premier League player and that seems to be a view shared by plenty of Spurs fans on social media.
