Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is reportedly set for a move to Premier League rivals Brighton on a free transfer – and some of their fans on Twitter are ecstatic about the speculation.

The 32-year-old has confirmed that’s he’s departing Anfield after six years with the Reds, with his contract expiring this summer.

The Telegraph reported Friday night that the 34-time capped England international was entering talks with Brighton manager Graham Potter about a possible move.

According to talkSPORT on Saturday afternoon, Lallana will complete a switch to Brighton on a three-year deal and the club have “smashed” their wage structure to secure him.

He is set to be announced by the South Coast club next week and he’s decided to join them in hope of regular first-team action.

Lallana is fresh off the back of winning a Premier League title this season, but he’s played a limited role in that and featured only 15 times in the league campaign.

He is a skilful individual that plays in the centre of the park and is excellent with both foot, plus he’s going to bring valuable experience to the Brighton squad.
