Brighton fans react as Ben White signs of for Leeds United with a stunning volley

Leeds United put the cherry on top of their sensational Championship campaign yesterday evening with a comfortable 4-0 win over Charlton Athletic. 

Goals from Stuart Dallas, Tyler Roberts and Jamie Shackleton helped secure the win but the most memorable goal will be the one which started the party. 

Ben White has been a revelation for Leeds United this season but there was one thing missing from the Brighton loanee’s stint at Elland Road, a goal. 

Finally, he got it and in some style, smashing a volley into the back of the net after a brilliant first touch on his chest. 

Leeds fans were elated but this could indeed be the last time they ever see the centre-back in a Leeds shirt. 

White’s incredible form at Leeds clearly has Brighton fans excited about what the player might deliver at the Amex next season and Seagulls supporters were quick to react to his brilliant goal on Twitter. 

Many were quick to dig their heels in on Leeds, making them acutely aware that White remains a Brighton player whom manager Graham Potter has made it clear won’t be sold this summer. 

Others simply congratulated him on a job well done at Elland Road and expressed their excitement at his return to Brighton. 

Of course, there is always the chance another team swoops in for White this summer, with the defender’s displays apparently catching the eye of some of the Premier League elite. 

But Brighton fans are currently just excited at the thought of this special player finally getting a chance on the south coast.
