A number of Leicester City fans have taken to Twitter to praise Luke Thomas following his impressive performance for the Foxes in the Europa League last night.

Brendan Rodgers’ charges played out a tight 0-0 draw away at Slavia Prague in their last-32 first leg.

The first half of the encounter was fairly open, with both sides enjoying chances, Harvey Barnes one of Leicester’s most dangerous outlets.

However, the second half was a more cagey affair, with the Foxes bogged down in a midfield battle as the game fizzled out into a stalemate.

While Thomas had his hands full with a winger and an attacking full-back up against him, the 19-year-old competed well and got stuck in.

He was impressive on the attack as well, linking up well with Barnes and playing some neat football.

Here is what some Leicester fans on social media were saying about the young left-back:

Thomas has been at Leicester since 2008 and has risen through the ranks, being named Development Squad Player of the Season last term.

To date, he has made 16 competitive senior appearances for Rodgers’ side.
