Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson has shown appreciation to Spurs teammate Pape Matar Sarr on Instagram.
The 21-year-old Tottenham midfielder delivered another impressive performance for Ange Postecoglou’s side on Monday night.
Sarr once again gave Spurs plenty of energy in midfield, and came up with a great defensive header as Raul Jimenez looked set to threaten.
The Senegal international took to Instagram with a photo of himself from the match and the caption “another win at home, let’s focus on what’s next!”
Johnson responded with a hand heart emoji, which more than 400 fans liked as of Tuesday evening.

Pape Matar Sarr one of many Spurs success stories
When Tottenham signed Sarr, Spurs fans had to wait a while before they could see him in action.
As per the terms of his signing, Tottenham loaned him back to Metz for the entirety of the 2021-22 season.
Sarr was then eased into action for Spurs during the 2022-23 campaign, getting 17 appearances under his belt.
Just five of those were starts, however, with just 645 minutes of football under his belt, including in the Premier League 2.
However, under Ange Postecoglou, Sarr has become a regular starter and is very much taking the Premier League by storm.

We’re not yet in November, yet the player has clocked up almost as many minutes so far this term as he has last season.
It’s frightening to think how good Sarr can become in the coming years, as his game develops and he gets more experience.
Likewise, Brennan Johnson looks like a top talent. He’s had some injury issues this term which have hampered his progress, but there’s no doubt he’ll become amazing as he continues to progress at N17.
