Celtic attacker Lewis Morgan has not enjoyed the best start this season since he linked up with the first team at Parkhead, but manager Brendan Rodgers should have seen enough in his game to stick with him.
The 22-year-old is yet to score or assist in his 10 appearances so far this campaign, which doesn’t make for pretty reading when you consider he should be making a serious impact in the final third.
But he’s only started one of those matches for the Bhoys and has had to try catch the eye with mainly cameo appearances off the bench.
The Scotsman has certainly proved in glimpses his attacking qualities, as he’s a quick dribbler and has been getting into some dangerous positions.
There is no doubt that his decision making in front of goal needs to improve, but he’s still a youngster learning his game and will improve the longer he works under Rodgers.

There is an immense competition in the squad for places and Morgan needs to try make the most of every minute on the pitch.
The left-winger was in brilliant form for St Mirren last season, as he scored 18 goals and supplied 13 assists across all competitions for them.
Morgan is of course no featuring at a higher level with Celtic, but does have the potential to come good and supporters should have some patience with him.
