Brendan Rodgers has raved about the quality of in-form Celtic ace James Forrest, who has made a brilliant individual start to the season with some dazzling performances.
The Scottish attacker has made 20 appearances across all competitions so far, scoring seven goals and supplying nine assists in return.
He is a right-winger that is one of the most consistent performers for the Bhoys and appears to be one of the first names on the team sheet.
Manager Rodgers has highlighted the incredible work-rate of the 27-year-old and the fact that he loves playing for Celtic.
These are certainly attributes that make him a real favourite with both the boss and the club’s supporters.
“He’s been brilliant. His level of performance, really over the past few years has been great. We have a philosophy of how we defend and how we attack and James really buys into that. He absolutely loves playing for Celtic,” Forrest said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.
Forrest is a product of the Celtic academy and has sensationally made 312 appearances for the club.
The scintillating wide man is arguably in his best ever form for the Scottish champions and is one of the star men the team are relying on right now to produce a piece of magic.
He went somewhat under the radar for his major roles during the last two successful seasons, but is rightfully receiving widespread praise in this moment.
