Leicester City are hoping to offer Brendan Rodgers a path back into Premier League management after sacking Claude Puel.
With a managerial vacancy now open at Leicester, the Foxes are plotting a £6m move for Celtic manager Rodgers, as per The Scottish Sun.
Rodgers now has a major decision to make; does he continue with his Celtic project or take the job down in England?
There are pros and cons on each side and the Northern Irishman is likely to take his time mulling over this offer from the former Premier League champions.
But if he does move down to the King Power Stadium, it would give Rodgers the opportunity to work with Filip Benkovic again.
Benkovic is currently on loan at Celtic from Leicester and has been thoroughly impressive in green and white.
The 21-year-old plays as a central defender and he has demonstrated his aerial dominance and no-nonsense tackling approach to the game.
But Celtic stand little chance of keeping the Croatia under-21 starlet beyond the end of this season with Leicester keen to use him.
If Rodgers moved to Leicester, he would have a ready-made centre-back pairing of Harry Maguire and Benkovic, as well as the option of fellow countryman Jonny Evans.
This could be a factor that helps the 46-year-old make up his mind when deciding his future.
