Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has categorically stated that no players will leaving the club during the January transfer window.
As per the Daily Mail, Rodgers was asked directly if anyone will be departing the King Power Stadium next month, with the Foxes absolutely flying in second place in the Premier League.
And he said: “There will be nobody leaving in January, categorically. It’s really clear we want to keep this squad together. It’s an exciting team with growth and development, so we want to ensure they stay around beyond January.
“There will always be speculation if you’re doing well, so long may it continue because James (Maddison) has been brilliant…efficient, productive, and he’s getting better. He’s a bright young player with a big future. He is very hungry to be better and that is what is key. He’s been consistently very good and he has a great hunger for the game.”

TBR’s View – Why would any of Leicester’s top talent want to leave?
There may be clubs with greater historic pedigree loitering but Leicester are bang on course to be a Champions League club next season, and are Liverpool’s only title challengers.
That potential isn’t on offer at other clubs, who are scrambling just to get into the top four and embarking on major rebuilding projects which could take a number of years.
