'Break the bank next summer': Some Arsenal fans in awe of 21-year-old's display last night
Some Arsenal fans have waxed lyrical about Alexander Isak’s display for Sweden last night.
The Gunners were linked with the 21-year-old over the summer.
The Athletic reported in June that Arsenal were keeping tabs on Isak.
However, they didn’t pursue him further, so the Swede remains at Real Sociedad.
However, Isak hasn’t gone off the Arsenal fanbase’s radar.
On Thursday, the 6ft 3in sharpshooter helped Sweden record a superb victory over Spain.
Isak equalised just a minute after Carlos Soler’s fourth-minute opener for La Roja.
And Viktor Claesson netted in the second half to hand Spain their first qualifying defeat in 28 years.
Here is what some Arsenal fans were saying about Isak:
Should’ve bought Isak. He is gonna be a £100M player!— Yoserman AFC (@JesusJosefsson) September 2, 2021

My only issue with isak is he seems very raw, he is basically Henry without the finishing ability…. Once he improves his finishing, he's destined for greatness— ChrisØØ7 (@AfcChris_007) September 2, 2021
