Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa has opened the door to a move to Liverpool in the future, The Daily Mail reports.
Barbosa has revealed his desire to move to Liverpool in the future because he admires the club and Roberto Firmino. He hopes to play with Firmino in the Brazilian national team but also opened the door to a potential Liverpool switch.
The 23-year-old has been prolific on loan at Flamengo this season, scoring twice to win the Copa Libertadores for the Rio de Janeiro outfit. He is on loan from Inter Milan but his future is up in the air.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Barbosa said: “Firmino is great, I really admire him. He’s been successful for many years in Europe. He is a powerful forward and he has been great for Brazil. He is an inspiration that I look up to.
“It would be a pleasure to play with him. Maybe we could team up for Brazil in the future and Liverpool is a team that everyone wants to play for.”
Barbosa has proven his goalscoring credentials over a long period of time in Brazil. But his record in Europe is poor. He has only scored once in 10 games for Inter and once in five games for Benfica.
If Liverpool did sign the Brazil international, who has been compared to Neymar, it would be a risk. It all depends on the price.
