Bradley Dack has responded to a supporter on Instagram asking which stadium did he most enjoy travelling to, and the Blackburn Rovers playmaker responded with Leeds United’s Elland Road.
Dack, 26, is currently sidelined not only because of Covid-19, but because he is overcoming an anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered in December. Beforehand, the midfielder was considered as one of the best attacking stars in the division.
Last season, Dack had a hand in 28 goals during his 45 appearances for Blackburn and his form was very similar this time around – scoring 10 and creating three more in 24 outings. He has a contract at Blackburn until the summer of 2021.
Asked by a supporter which Championship ground was the best other than Blackburn’s Ewood Park, Dack responded simply by posting “Elland Road” on his story which will delight Leeds’ large fanbase.
TBR’s view – When fit, he could be Mateusz Klich’s perfect partner
It is a position that is yet to be permanently filled under Marcelo Bielsa – unlike Klich, who has started every single one of Bielsa’s 83 Championship fixtures in charge of the Yorkshire club.
Tyler Roberts, Adam Forshaw, Jamie Shackleton, Pablo Hernandez, Stuart Dallas, Lewis Baker and plenty more have all been used alongside Klich – but none have had a lasting effect. Surely the impressive Dack would be ideal.
The Sun claimed Dack was a £20million target for both West Ham and Crystal Palace and if Leeds gain promotion, the Whites should seriously consider spending that figure to lure Dack to his favourite away ground in the second tier.
