Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie returned from injury to score in the 2-0 win over relegation-threatened St Mirren.
On 63 minutes, Christie was introduced to the action, replacing Olivier Ntcham with the Bhoys 1-0 up. It was his first game since he limped off 54 minutes into the 4-1 win over Motherwell back in February.
Christie immediately looked bright and was his usual self, always looking to move the ball forward and create chances.
And it was only a matter of time before the got on the score-sheet. With five minutes left to play, Christie doubled Celtic’s lead to guide them to victory.

The 24-year-old picked the ball up in the box, shifted it quickly onto his right foot and drilled a low driven shot past the St Mirren goalkeeper.
This was Christie’s 11th goal of the season in 38 games. And that is not a bad return for a player who was battling for his Celtic future earlier this season.
Unfortunately, some unsavoury moments followed the Scotland international’s goal as a Celtic fan threw a firecracker onto the pitch.
But fans ignored that moment to send Christie praise on social media. Here are the best tweets.
